Loneliness / Workshop / St. Petersburg 2014
In July 2014 we were invited to run a 5 days workshop at St. Petersburg (Russia).
We worked with a group of 16 highly motivated students.
ALONE TOGETHER, A NEW TYPE OF LONELINESS
Find a problem related to loneliness or of a lack of communication and solve it.
The students worked in group, they discussed ideas, possible leads, during the first day. In 5 days they managed to come out with several strong ideas and a clearer understanding of the fact that Graphic Designers are problem solvers and communicators.
We are now testing some of the solution in Oslo.
Team leaders / Oslo: Sunniva, Umer, Håvard and Yann

“Subway connect”. The team focused on the fact that people do not communicate in public transportation. During the two first days of the workshop they did some research and interviewed people in St. Petersburg’s underground. They easily found out that approximately 50% of the subway users are doing… nothing (20% are using their phones, the other ones are often reading or sleeping). From there they started to work out on two concepts. (the project is going to be tested in Oslo in December 2014)
